T1 transit

T1 transit mainly concerns the transport of non-Community goods, i.e. goods originating from areas outside the European Union. Customs duties and all other fees are suspended for the duration of transport until they are delivered to their destination within the European Union.

How to handle T1 transit?

T1 transit clearances are carried out throughout Poland – after sending an order to the e-mail address of the Terminus branch.

Such a declaration is submitted electronically to the appropriate office of departure. After the goods are admitted to the T1 transit procedure, we assign an MRN number and the document is printed by the official and handed to the driver. The T1 document, after the goods have arrived at the destination, is presented by the driver to the office. If all the documentation has been prepared correctly and the result of any inspection does not indicate any irregularities, the transit procedure is closed and the security is released.

Documentation for performing T1 transit should include:

  • invoice
  • specification
  • vehicle registration numbers
  • information about the border customs office through which the car will cross the border with the EU
  • driver’s contact

Additionally, we can perform the transit procedure from Ukraine or from/to Great Britain.

For this purpose, please send the above-mentioned documentation to the email address t1@acterminus.pl along with the border crossing.
